Classic Minis have always been extremely popular competition cars and this is your chance to win one of your own.
In 1982, the basic model Mini City was replaced with the City E. This new version of an already popular classic had improved petrol consumption, a higher compression engine, and a longer drive ratio. A couple of years later, 12-inch rims were added too.
Our 1989 Rover Mini City 1000 E is finished in flame red and has a 4-speed manual gearbox and benefits from the better-received backdated centre console.
It passed its most recent MOT in November 2022 with no advisories and the car comes with multiple previous MOT certificates and a range of paperwork. This includes the original purchase invoice from the Mini dealer in Frinton-on-sea where it was initially purchased.
Driving a classic Mini is always good fun and this example is no different. Its smooth start and easy driving make our Mini City E a joy to take out on the road and we are sure whoever is lucky enough to win it, will love it too.
