The BSA ‘Golden Flash’ is a British motorcycle that was the first model in the A10 series. Manufactured by the Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA), the Golden Flash was introduced in 1950 and continued production until 1963.
The 1960 model featured a 646cc air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine capable of producing around 35 horsepower. This engine was paired with a four-speed gearbox, allowing the bike to achieve impressive speeds for its time, often exceeding 100 mph.
The frame was a duplex cradle design, which enhanced the bike’s handling and stability. The suspension system, consisting of telescopic front forks and a rear swingarm with twin shock absorbers, offered a smooth and comfortable ride.
Our 1960 BSA A10 ‘Golden Flash’ has been part of our own collection but now, it’s time for it to find a new home with our next lucky winner.
