Our 1960 Triumph TR3A is a genuine home-market, right-hand-drive example that was first registered in the UK on 1st April 1960. Finished in a vibrant Red complemented by a Black interior with cream piping, it’s certainly a car that grabs your attention. Powered by a 1991cc straight-four engine with a four-speed manual gearbox and A-type overdrive.
The car benefits from a number of subtle upgrades to enhance performance and reliability without detracting from its originality. These include a tubular exhaust manifold and sports exhaust, an aluminium radiator with an electric cooling fan, an uprated water pump and new coolant hoses, new rear shock absorbers, and a new front bumper
It has been recently serviced, including a coolant flush and has been maintained regardless of cost, with a comprehensive file of invoices to back it up. The gearbox was overhauled in 2008 and, although MOT-exempt, it passed an MOT with no advisories that is valid until September 2025.
