For many people, the MGB was the epitome of British Sports cars of its time. It was in continuous production for the entirety of its 18-year life span with the basic body shape remaining unaltered (with the exception of the black bumpers added in 1975).
When the GT version was announced in October 1965, it became an overnight success. It was an affordable and practical car that had the added benefit of being able to carry two extra passengers in the back.
Our 1968 MGB GT comes from long-term previous ownership and is finished in striking red paintwork. Since entering the Bridge Classic Cars workshop, it has benefitted from new boot rubbers being fitted, new chrome work, as well as undergoing a full service. It has also spent some time in the paintshop to improve some areas of the paintwork.
It comes with chrome wire wheels and the pre-1975 chrome bumpers. The interior is black with red piping and is in beautiful condition. The 3 spoke sports steering wheel adds an extra element of sportiness to this classic MGB.
Our 1968 MGB GT has covered 52,000 miles and comes with a collection of MOT certificates and invoices.
