First registered in December 1970, our Mineral Blue MGC GT was originally supplied to University Motors Limited in London. Throughout its lifetime, it has only had three private owners and has undergone a significant restoration, carried out by Keynsham Classic Cars between 2017 and 2018. During the restoration, around ยฃ24,000 was spent on parts including new front and rear wings, bumpers, and over-riders, replacement floor pans and boot floor, new front valence and driver’s door.
The restoration also involved a complete overhaul of the braking and steering systems, engine and gearbox refurbishments, and a full respray in the original factory Mineral Blue colour.
Since 2022, the car has undergone a shakedown and complete service. An electronic ignition has been fitted as well as other small upgrades such as the Moto Lita steering wheel.
Our MGC GT comes with an extensive history file containing invoices, several items relating to its original sale, and its heritage certificate.
