The Mercedes SL. Only the very best vehicles from Mercedes were graced with the iconic โSLโ designation. Since its introduction with the 300SL of the 1950s, Mercedes SLโs have cemented their place in classic automotive history. In 1971 one of the most iconic and recognisable generations of the SL to date was released. The fabled R107. A wonderfully angular and aggressive design for the SL to usher in the decades of excess which they would grow to symbolise.
Our 350SL was first registered in August of 1976 finished in its striking Aztec Gold exterior partnered with a Chocolate Brown interior. It also was optioned with a body colour matched removable hard top with chrome trims running across the tops alongside a convertible soft top. Powered by a smooth and elegant 3.5 litre V8, our 350SL is the ultimate sunny day cruiser.
Our 1976 Mercedes 350SL has covered just over 75,000 miles. The car has been enjoyed and owned by enthusiasts who ensure the car wanted for nothing in its life. Always being cared for by marque specialists wherever it found itself (with extensive documentation to show for this). Recently, we have worked on the car to fix an issue with the convertible top mechanism and worked with local Mercedes specialist, Derrick Wells to get the car running beautifully.
