Westfalia refers to the conversion type as VW made many of these vans as people carrier buses but were taken on as conversions by companies such as Westfalia, Devon and Danbury. The Westfalia conversions often have their iconic rock and roll bed which is integrated into the rear bench seats.
The previous owners were a local couple who enjoyed UK holidays and festivals away with their family from a young age. After acquiring in in 1996 its been well loved and used for the last 25 years and has served as a very special vessel for memories. Campervans often become well loved motors as they allow for the owners to escape to new places in their own customisable vehicle. As is the way with campervans, they can be easily modified for each owner, as everyone likes their campers in different ways.
Our VW features an air-cooled 1600cc engine, 4 speed gear box and responsive steering which makes for a comfortable drive. With disk brakes fitted to the front and drum brakes on the back, our VW has been fully prepared by our Classic Car Technicians for it’s next owner.
The dazzling Marino Yellow exterior matches a delightfully co-ordinated interior. Half leather with a yellow and green tartan patented insert, the front and rear seats are in incredible condition. Copious amounts of draws and storage cupboards can be found in the main compartment as well as at the back.
Alongside the twin stove gas cooker, this camper also comes equipped with two camp chairs, a sun canopy and a wind protector.
