This eye-catching roadster has proven time and time again that it is a classic upon which you can rely. When its previous owner purchased the car back in 2010, it was immediately driven 300 miles to its new home. Once it arrived, our 1978 Triumph Spitfire was subjected to a full nut and bolt restoration, including a full respray and mechanical overhaul.
Further proving its reliability, our Spitfire took part in the 2012 Round Britain Reliability Run (RBRR), a gruelling 48-hour, 2,000+ mile road trip. After completing the 2012 Reliability Run, this impressive car went on to do it three more times – in 2014, 2016, and 2018. Since these lengthy trips, our Spitfire has enjoyed a quieter last few years, only being driven in the local area of its former owner.
The car comes with a history file that contains the owner’s handbook, MoT certificates, and a range of invoices highlighting the care our Spitfire has received throughout its life.
