Our Alfa Romeo gushes class and sophistication. Alfa’s styling throughout the years has been difficult to match with their use of the legendary, small-displacement twin-cam engines making them an absolute pleasure to drive.
Now, Bridge Classic Cars is giving you the chance to win a piece of the passion. Our 1981 Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
This car began its life in South Africa where it remained until 2000, when it was imported into the UK. Sporting rare Shahini Blue paintwork, according to our sources this was a South African only colour, believed to be only 1 of a handful ever made.
Being in a warm, dry climate, the bodywork and structure of this classic Alfa Romeo is in very good condition and while living in the UK, the car has been garage kept to preserve this gorgeous classic.
Whilst in South Africa, it had numerous pieces of work carried out including removal and rebuild of the transaxle.
After arriving in the UK, the car has been transformed into what you see today. In 2011, an original new old stock 1.8 litre engine was fitted to the car as well as the Dellorto carburettors being professional refurbished and the car tuned by specialists who also fitted Alfaholics distributor parts for better running. The 14 inch wheels on the car are also new old stock โโVaneโโ style pieces from the Alfetta series and powder coated in Gun Metal Grey.
Inside, the car has been uprated with numerous pieces including the Momo three-spoke steering wheel as well as a full Alfetta GTV interior.
The car has been maintained by Fiat/Alfa Romeo specialists CP Garage Services in Dundee, with regular oil and filter changes as well as services every year regardless of use โ including its 2010 trip to join the Alfa Romeo Centenary Celebration in Milan, Italy with its owner noting it โโperformed flawlesslyโโ.
Now, Bridge Classic Cars wants to give you the chance of owning this incredible piece of Alfa Romeo history. Get your tickets today and be in with a chance of winning the beautiful Shahini Blue 1981 Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
