Presenting our 1984 BMW635CSi. An icon of performance, style and German luxury all rolled into one stunning 2 door grand tourer. A well-loved classic by every petrolhead and enthusiast alike for its devilish good looks and performance.
Our 1984 BMW 635CSi was first registered 09/01/1984 at Coopers BMW in Thames Ditton, Surrey. Originally registered as A32 DRA, it has worn the registration A91 GAP since 2003.
This car is a 1984 635CSi Automatic. Powered by the fabled Motorsport derived 3.4 litre โโM30โโ straight-six that powered the car from its introduction in 1979 until production finished a decade later in 1989.
The styling of the car, penned by the enigmatic Paul Bracq, was loosely based on the legendary E9 Coupe which it followed. The 635CSi was the first generation to wear the 6 series badge and begin a new journey for BMW into the high performance Coupe world. The car you can see is a facelifted car, being post-1982 after the switch over to different 5 series underpinnings.
This car comes with its original book pack that includes its instruction manual (including the on-board computer), the much sought after BMW service Europa address book, and the original contact sheet for the Blaupunkt Stereo. It also comes with its original service/warranty book with first service entry on the 29/7/1987 (main dealer) at 41734 Miles then again another entry in November 1987 (main dealer). The stamps continue for 1988 (main dealer), 1995, 2005 and 2008. Also included in the pack for the car is extensive MOT histories as well as parts invoices from BMW main dealers in Middlesex.
Since arriving at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop. We have rectified some small rust issues which were found during its inspection. New patch panels have been welded in before the vehicle was carefully paint matched by our expert in-house painters. The rest of the exterior of the car is in perfectly good working order. Finished in a beautiful silvery blue with gleaming, dazzling brightwork throughout.
The interior is also in wonderful condition for the age of the car. A small tear was found on the driverโs seat which was skillfully repaired by our incredibly talented in-house trim shop using original material to perform the repair. The interior materials are all in clean and good condition with all the touch points in very good condition.
Congratulations to Richard Fearn, winner with ticket number 351.
