Since its launch at the 1977 Geneva Salon, this front-engined, water-cooled, V8-powered beast has been a symbol of Porsche’s bold step into the world of grand touring. It proved to be a successful step with the 928 winning the 1978 Car of the Year Award.
Our 1989 Porsche 928 S4 features a 5.0-litre V8 engine paired with an automatic gearbox.
When it was purchased in January 2011 by its previous owner, 106,530 miles was showing on the odometer. Today, it shows around 107,700 miles, indicating it has been rarely used over the last decade. Recently, it underwent recommissioning, including an oil and fluid change, and was fitted with new tyres and battery. It also comes with a comprehensive history file containing previous MOT certificates and owner’s manuals as well as a valid MOT until February 2025.
