Introduced at the 1990 Birmingham Motor Show as a tribute to Jaguar’s wins at the 1988 and 1990 Le Mans 24 Hours, the limited run of 280 Le Mans XJ-S models boasted several aesthetic enhancements over the standard variants. These included quad headlamps, additional trim and badges, and lattice alloy wheels. One thing that remained the same though – the 5.3-litre V12 retained its characteristic smoothness, coupled with an automatic transmission.
Our 1991 Jaguar XJS Le Mans V12, numbered 154 out of 280, comes with a comprehensive history file that includes invoices documenting substantial spending on the car in its previous ownership. It has been recently serviced with new spark plugs, oil, filters, oil cooler, tyres, and the replacement of all fuel rail rubbers and injector seals with Ethanol-resistant materials.
The interior features well-preserved headlining, woodwork, carpets, and cream leather seats. This sought-after XJS comes with a service book, ownerโs manuals, tool kit, and an MOT with no advisories valid until February 15, 2025.
