Produced from 2005 to 2012, the Porsche 987 Cayman S is a two-seater sports car that delivers impressive performance. Powered by a 3.4-litre flat-six engine, it maxed out at 295bhp and 251 lb-ft of torque. Known for its exceptional handling, this mid-engine Porsche proved to be balanced and agile on the road.
Most 987 Caymans are seen in Silvers, Greys, Blacks, and Blues. However, this one is a bit more special as it was ordered new in PTS 8C6 Orange. These types of cars don’t become available very often, so this is a fantastic opportunity to own a Cayman in a factory PTS colour.
The interior is a special-order Cocoa leather and benefits from the extended leather pack, heated seats and Porsche Communications Management system with satellite navigation. It also comes with the optional 19’’ Carrera Classic wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tyres. Our Cayman S has the popular Tiptronic S gearbox and also benefits from Cayman R exhaust tips which give a much-improved noise over the standard exhaust.
Our Porsche Cayman S has had 4 owners from new with its most recent being a race engineer who looks after historic F1 and GP cars resulting in the vehicle being well looked after.
A history file containing invoices for previous works comes with the car. These include one from EMC Engines Motorsport Engineers for NGK Platinum plugs and replacement coil pack in January 2022. Some past MOT certificates also come in the history file.
