Since the birth of the first Cobra in 1962, the name has passed into automotive legend. Powerful, strong and brutish machines which rewarded the most talented drivers and struck fear in the hearts of the uninitiated. Either way, a Cobra is one of the most intense and thrilling drives you could ever possibly have.
Now, Bridge Classic Cars Competitions is giving you the chance to win one of these legendary sports cars with our 2020 Cobra by AK Sportscars.
Finished in metallic Candy Apple Red paintwork with a tan interior, this snake packs a bite with a 5.7-litre Chevrolet V8 (rebuilt in 2017) showing just 4282 miles and 5-speed Tremec manual gearbox, with the all-important side pipes and not a roof in sight.
The car was commissioned as a Generation II body and chassis kit for its original owner and delivered in June of 2017, the rolling chassis was built up by AK using overhauled XJ40 components and coilover suspension with a few optional extras specified by the first owner such as the roll bars and an BMW steering column.
The car comes complete with an extensive history file of invoices for parts to complete the project as well as original correspondence with AK Sportscars including its original build/commissioning sheet. Also in the history file are original build manuals, wiring manuals and other reference materials.
