Our special edition 1990 Austin Mini 30 is back! Some of you may recognise this as a previous competition car won by Courtney Barker back in August 2020. This vehicle was offered back to us and knowing what incredible condition this little pocket rocket was in, we snapped it back up. The Mini 30 was built to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mini. The Mini thirty was offered in just two colour options, black or cherry red. Weโve sourced one of the finest Cherry Red examples in the UK which was given a full respray by the team at Bridge Classic Cars before it left us in 2020. This particular car is complete with beautiful gold/cherry decals and stylish wheel fenders, this little Mini is a real showstopper.
Powered by a 998cc engine, with all four wheels perfectly placed in the corners of the vehicle, our Mini drives superbly and is a super usable, reliable classic car. This is the type of car which guarantees a good time whether itโs a rolling Britishย โBโ road or a busyย high-street. Itโs impossible not to grin when behind the wheel of this playful classic as you enjoy the playful and direct steering while all 4 cylinders sing out across the countryside.
Along with itโs respray, a sympathetic interior restoration and full service here at Bridge Classic Cars was carried out during itโs last preparation. The overall condition inside and out of this car is top notch. The car originally came in from a family local to us in Suffolk and was then won by Coutney (who also lives locally to us) with the winning ticket number 665. The car will come with a comprehensive folder of photographs from a previous restoration and the works we have carried out can be seen on our website. This 31 year old Mini is showing just 66,074 miles on the clock.
Congratulations to Billy Spellman, winner of the 1990 Austin Mini 30.
