Congratulations to Simon Smallman, winner of the 1996 Mercedes CL 500.
Theย Live Draw for this competition was held on Thursday June 10th 2021.
A classic car truly worthy of the Three-Pointed Star, our Mercedes CL500 is loaded with technology, it oozes class, and of course, has plenty of power to boot!
One of the very best classics to drive daily, our gorgeous first generation CL is finished in the stunning metallic Azure Blue paintwork. In the sunlight this mesmerising colour really dazzles, changing from a deep blue to purple from different angles. Complimented beautifully with cream nappa leather interior and a walnut dash, this Mercedes is one of the most comfortable rides you can imagine.
The M119 V8 engine is widely regarded to be one of the best engines made by Mercedes. Producing a healthy 322 bhp with 470 newton meters of torque, this fabulous engine is mated to a very smooth automatic gearbox. Our CL500 is just as happy gently cruising along as it is eager when you put the hammer down.
Beautifully original, our CL is sitting on 18 inch Mercedes Alloy wheels. Featuring a sunroof and heated, electronically adjustable seats, youโre sure to always be comfortable when driving this classic.
This classic Mercedes was brought to us by friend of Bridge Classic Cars and workshop electrician, Tim, after a bereavement in the family. Owned by the family since 2007 this car has been incredibly well cared for. Hence why we had to purchase the car and give you the chance to win this wonderful example.
At the time, the CL series Mercedes was one of the most luxurious cars money could buy. They are aging tremendously. Having only ever made 26,000 first generation CLโs, good examples like ours becoming increasingly difficult to come by. With only three owners from you, this car comes with folders of paperwork detailing its history and maintenance.
Congratulations to Simon Smallman, winner with ticket number 501.
