Presenting ‘Little Eva’, our 1961 Morris Mini Deluxe.
Little Eva has been restored from the ground-up by Bridge Classic Cars in collaboration with Mini specialist Team C racing.
A bare shell arrived at our Suffolk HQ in January of 2020. Each piece of the car has been sourced, inspected and refurbished to the highest standard by our specialist team to create one of the most striking and wonderful early Mini’s around. And, now it could be yours.
Everything on our rare and collectible early classic Mini has been perfected. From the countless hours of bodywork finessing to the freshly rebuilt engine – no stone was left unturned in the relentless pursuit of perfection. The various chrome trim pieces were sent off to the best specialists to be refinished, period-correct items were painstakingly sourced either as original components or high-quality reproductions.
The original Cherry Red paintwork was meticulously laid down onto the bodywork. The car went through multiple stages of preparation in the build up to paint, with the final finishing touch being the hand lettering of the cars name emblazoned on the rear boot lid. To compliment the wonderful exterior, a bespoke new interior was handmade for the car in-house with matching red leather and grey fabric for the seats. Even the black leather gaiter for the handbrake is made specifically for Little Eva.
The engine was completely overhauled and rebuilt by our in-house team including new pistons, bearings, gaskets as well a cylinder head designed for unleaded petrol all matched up to a reconditioned 4-speed gearbox.
Since its completion in early 2021, the car has remained in our personal collection covering just 22 miles… but the time has come for Little Eva to go out and experience the world with a new enthusiastic owner.
