1979 Austin Morris Mini Clubman Estate
Bought 15 years ago by restorer Roger Moorhouse of Mini specialists ‘Roger Moorhouse Classic Car Repairs’ for £325.00. Roger had been the only owner throughout all that time and since completion of this incredible build.
The car had not only been fully restored but subtly upgraded to make her what she is today… simply stunning!
Superb metallic green paintwork with an off white, almost Old English, non metallic roof.
Our Clubman had been treated to the full Mini Cooper interior, including a walnut dash and arm rest. Bespoke, fully fitted out rear luggage area, digital speedo, custom illuminated switching, a 1275 metro head, diamond cut with gold mini-lite type wheels and fully detailed engine compartment.
The current odometer reading is 2,200 miles which presumed to be accurate since the rebuild was completed.
Part of Roger’s own collection, it had won prizes around the classic car scene for many years and had appeared three times at the iconic NEC classic car show. Although unfortunately not with the car, it had won numerous trophies and will continue to do so.
With only 1800 maximum tickets, there were yet again, incredible odds.
Congratulations to James Colwell, winner with ticket number 850.
