Summer 1944, Spitfire PT879 was produced at Vickers-Armstrong in Castle Bromwich. After a savage aerial dog fight in Spring 1945, the spitfire crashed down into the Russian Tundra.
Recovered by a local farmer, our REC Spitfire watch is made from the salvaged aluminium of this very aircraft.
This stunning watch features a stainless steel 41mm dial, Miyota cal. 9015 self-winding movement and is loaded with design cues from the king of the skies, the Spitfire.
