Blink and youโll miss it! Our beautifully presented 1980 Mini Van is hiding something very special under the bonnetโฆ a Supercharged 1380cc engine!
The Mini Van is a workhorse for tradespeople across generations. Built on the architecture of one of the greatest grass roots racers of all time, the humble Mini.
Our 1980 Austin Mini Van is the bridge between those two worlds. Combining the practicality of the van, with the performance of a true race car.
Fitted with a 1380cc engine, based on a 1275cc A series engine, and for that added good measure a Vmaxscart supercharged. Our Mini is finished in dark green with black vinyl interior and running Cooper S wheels with various suspension upgrades, this pint-sized champion has got the good looks to match its hidden performance.
The car has been well cared for and loved during its life with recent receipts dating back to 2017 with extensive parts invoices from Mini Sport as recently as 2021/2022 involving extensive new body seals, various trims and a brand new steering rack. In March of 2021, the cylinder head was removed and worked on by Scholar Racing Engines who skimmed the cylinder head, and fitted new bearings along with new valve seats and refaced valves to go along with its recent Superflow Performance exhaust system. The odometer reads 59,384 miles.
